        HANNAH BARNES IS A FORCE: On Motherhood and Mountain Biking.

        In theme with Mother's Day last weekend, Specialized Bicycles recently released a new short film featuring one of their athletes, Hannah Barnes. A formidable force of nature, Barnes is not only a racer but a new and full-time mother to a one-year-old, all whilst living in a self-built wooden cabin in the Scottish Highlands and feeding mostly off the land from her veggie garden.

        Whereas most people might decide that bike racing isn't possible alongside the efforts and responsibilities of being a parent, Hannah Barnes proves to everyone that it's not the case at all -- as she heads to Africa on a 4-day stage race from Mount Kilimanjaro with her daughter Inga in tow.
