Acidophilus Conditions
Skied into Acidophilus today as the hill was being pummelled by some pretty good winds and the snow looked like it was only sticking in low lying areas, so we figured Acidophilus with it's north facing slopes would be the place to find the new snow piled deep.

We managed three laps and found the best snow on lower angle slopes with fewer trees as the steep trees looked like a war zone with tree bombs everywhere from the recent high winds. The lower angle slopes held 15cm of good powder and some fine turns. Still early season and caution is needed though as there are natural hazards everywhere.
Looks like the next few days will bring the needed snow.
