Acidophilus @ Whitewater
Another grey day here in the interior of BC, the West Kootenays have been particularly cloudy for this time of year with little of the white stuff to justify all these clouds.
Given there has been no real dumpage in almost two weeks the skiing is still quite good. Today we heading into Acidophilus as it is generously treed and a good line when times are uncertain. We found 10cm of new snow ontop of a very thin melt crust.
This provided for some very fast skiing where an ocassional speed check was in order. With the depth of snow sitting at 175 there are still plenty of natural obsticals to be aware of or 'hit' if you are so inclined.
Has anyone skied White Queen or 5mile this weekend – interested to hear about the conditions???
