Acidphilus + White Queen Conditions
Today is the 19th of March and also the 19th consecutive day of reported snow fall for the month at Whitewater - mind you it was only 1cm. That is until it started puking at 10:00 and when we left it was still piling up fast - Touring Sunday should be good.
Back to today - we skied a lap Acidphilus and then came out via White Queen and conditions were pretty decent. I had high hopes for some bottomless Pow with faces hots all around but it seems like the most recent snowfall has settled quite a bit on the north and south aspects. Typically Acidophilus is the go to location when wind, sun and higher temps have played with conditions but this time it is pretty even on all aspects. 10cm ski pen, with a consolidated snow texture, not wind blasted or crusted just 'condensed'.
Still worth the ski and only going to get better.
