COMP - Qua yurt with 5 friends for 5 days

We took advantage of Ymir Yurts locals deal posted on backcountryskiingcanada.com and boy did it pay off. January 9th arrived from the donut hole of the Rossland Range and recieved a fluffy 10cm our first night followed by clear skies and cool temps the rest of our trip. The stability was good, with only some pockets of shallow snow popping loose so we skied as much as we could, even managed a moonlight ski down South Qua straight back to the yurt. The group dynamics made the trip for sure, though the powder, blue skies and stability didn't hurt either. Definitely recommend it to anyone who wants easy access to fun terrain and basic style accomodation.
