Feb 14 - Five Mile

Toured into Five Mile today. Low visibility and moderate winds on the ridge did nothing to spoil the creamy 25cm of new snow. We did three laps. Conditions felt stable. There had been a number of skiers in the day before but there was still plenty of fresh. Temperature were warmer toward the end of the day but the snow held up fine. Skied out through goat slide trees more compacted snow on the south slopes with a noticable crust on hard turns but still awesome down to the chop in lower goats slide. Another great day!
