        IT is going to PUKE! - new system to stall over the kootenays

        Merry Christmas to us:

        Sunday:  Cloudy with flurries giving moderate accumulations. 10 - 15 cm possible. Winds remain light from the southwest while freezing levels climb to a maximum of 1200m.  

        Monday:  Heavy snow. 20-30 cm possible. An additional 20 cm overnight is possible. Increasing ridgeline winds. The freezing level may rise to 1200m during the day.

        Tuesday:  Snow tapering off. 10-15 cm possible. Lowering freezing level.
