So we're skinning up this big hill, its cold'and blowing, the track is icy with tricky kick turns and bootpacker prints, I've blown a skin, avvy conditions are sketchy, and I think to myself "man, why can't there just be a steenkin elevator?"

Actually its the entrance to the indoor slope in Dubai, but that doesn;t make as good a story!
Nice. That photo would be money with 120mm underfoot and a beacon visible inside your unzipped jacket.
