Whitewater ends with a splash
We can blame it on the late arrival of the Easter holidays this year but we can't blame it on the lack of snow,… the closing day of Whitewater Ski Resort that is.
April 6th, marked the last day of operations for Whitewater this year who made a big push to the finish line with over 25cm of snow in the last few days. This provided top notch backcountry skiing opportunities for those who hadn't yet waxed the boards for summer storage. The final base height was a few flakes north of 300cm which is more than respectable given the kind of season that it was.
In traditional Whitewater form, the beach party weekend signed things off for another season and ended in a big splash for most.
Good to see the kids going big.

It looks cold...
...and it is.
Some people made the distance;
and some people just didn't care.
Elvis was in the pond;
and little princesses too.
