Whitewater still skiiing nicely

Went up to Whiteweater for a tour yesterday. Skinned up and around and hung out on Ymir peak for a while before descending down Ymir bench and into the bowl. The skin up was as little tricky because it was hard (we were climbing at about 9:15). Ski crampons would have been a good idea. We took our skis off a couple times because at some points it was easier to boot pack.

Just off the bench and into the bowl below the peak, the skiing got really nice and schmoo-ey (in a good way). Lookout for massive cornices. I don't know what'll happen after this hot weekend but there is still very good coverage and lots of fun to be had. Take a look at my crappy snaps for an idea.
